What makes me an award-winning photographer?

My passion is creating unique and timeless images. As my clients will attest, I pour my God-given gifts – endless energy, flexibility and patience, confidence and expertise into each session, creating an experience of a lifetime.

My secret?

is to design each portrait. Together we plan the logistics, setting, clothing, hair, makeup ~ whatever it takes to have each family member, professional executive, or graduating Senior be portrayed at their very best.

My studio?

is the great outdoors. I am known professionally for my use of available light and creating natural settings that captures the heart and spirit of each individual.

When I’m not behind the camera?

It’s a rare occasion for me to be withOUT my camera, I love creating fine art photographs in my spare time. My husband and I can be found at the racetrack, volunteering as corner workers flagging signals to drivers at high speed or enjoying our gardens!  We collect sea glass on the shores of our favorite beaches. I love sailing, skiing and hiking. And I cherish mentoring an aspiring photographer.

My credentials?

I have had the privilege of studying with world-renown portrait artists. My degrees are from Rochester Institute of Technology. I am a Past President of Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area (PPGBA), and serve as a Trustee for the Golden Gate School of Professional Photographers (GGS) since 2005. I have also had the honor of being a member of several national photography organizations:

Certified Professional Photographers (CPP)
Professional Photographer of America (PPA)
Wedding & Portrait Photographers Int’l (WPPI)

My work has appeared in 7×7, Nob Hill Gazette, Gentry Magazine, UPI, and Sky Magazine.
